Inviting atmosphere. Sensational coffee made with a beautifully smooth bean which is brought to life by well trained baristas. The food is quite nice, but nothing overly special.
Travelling home to adelaide on a SUNDAY in holiday season- so happy this place was open (extra star for that!) and it sure is nice to have a quiet lunch here rather than greasy packed out McDonalds! Lovely outdoor tables, friendly service, had a decaf coffee and homemade lasagne and salad. All very nice and country style- unfussy and simple.
Above average coffee, the big breakfast is in fact big which is less common now days, could benefit from a more gormet sausage like a chorizo or kransky but definitely not a disappointing meal at all. The waffles are well presented and taste just as good. Unfortunately during busy periods there is a considerable wait time which I could not act pleased about however a personal visit from the chef to the table and some complimentary ice cream does help sooth that bitter taste left in your mouth after the wait. All in all good food great coffee and if they keep you waiting at least they make sure you know that they know they have kept you waiting which is something you don't often get unless you make a fuss. I will still maintain this is the best place for coffee in Stawell.
Had lunch with friends who were up from Melbourne for the weekend. Great meal, friendly service and fabulous prices. Definately recommended.
Had a birthday afternoon tea here. Good service, pleasant people, lovely coffee. I had a bacon and egg toasted sandwich. Very nice.
